Chronic Pain Treatments

At Clinique Kiné Fara, we specialize in managing chronic musculoskeletal pain conditions that often persist beyond the typical healing time and significantly impact quality of life. These include advanced or exercise-induced low back pain, frozen shoulder, chronic neck and upper back tension, tennis elbow, golfer’s elbow, carpal tunnel syndrome, and more.

Our Approach

The human body functions as a complex, interconnected system. When one part is affected, it often leads to compensatory issues in other areas. For example, untreated flat feet can lead to inward knee rotation and misalignment of the hip joint, contributing to chronic pain patterns.

At the core of our approach is identifying the primary source of the pain rather than only treating its symptoms. We begin by assessing the origin of dysfunction, whether biomechanical, muscular, or postural. From there, we focus on releasing tight and overactive muscles surrounding the painful area, followed by targeted strengthening of weak or inhibited muscles that may be contributing to or resulting from the pain. This method not only relieves discomfort but restores long-term balance, function, and resilience to the body.

For chronic low back pain that has already been assessed by an orthopedic specialist, such as pain caused by a diagnosed herniated disc, our focus is on reducing pressure on the spine. We do this by strengthening the core, abdominal, and pelvic muscles, and correcting your posture both while sitting and standing. These targeted interventions help the disc return to its optimal position and allow the body to recover naturally, reducing pain and discomfort over time.

For low back pain that appears only in specific situations, such as during certain movements or exercises, a kinesiologist will analyze your movement patterns to identify the root cause. By detecting and eliminating the faulty movement, we help you continue your fitness journey without pain and with confidence.
